About the Artist
Hello! My name is Paul Fung.
I currently attend Madison Country Day School as an International Baccalaureate student. Over the past two years in IB Visual Arts, I have used art as a way to explore ideas, develop my voice, and experiment with materials that bring my concepts to life. Art has allowed me to better understand the themes I care about while also encouraging others to reflect on them from their own perspective.

This website showcases the artworks I created during my junior and senior years, all centered around the overarching theme of water. I chose this theme because of water’s complexity—it can heal, destroy, calm, and cleanse, yet its absence or excess can lead to devastation. Through each piece, I aim to highlight a different quality of water, from its serenity to its role in pollution, rebirth, and destruction. My hope is that viewers will reflect on their own relationship with water, not only as a natural resource, but as a powerful force that shapes our world and lives.
